Gardens. Art. And a lovely day out – all for charity.
The Didsbury Open Gardens event last took place on Sunday 12th June 2016. Both hosts old and new shared their beautiful gardens with the public. Many of the gardens displayed works of art, including sculpture, paintings, crafts, pottery and much more.
Since the launch of the event in 2008, they have managed to raise over £50,000.00 for charities such as St. Annes Hospice, the Maggie’s Centre at The Christie and numerous other charities benefitted from sales of tea and cakes, pottery and plants.
