Welcome to Didsbury Open Gardens

The next Didsbury Open Gardens will take place on Sunday, June 19, 2022.  We will have a few lovely gardens to enjoy looking around, and fingers crossed for a sunny and warm day.

In June 2022,  we will again open our gardens and will have a variety of spaces and gardens welcoming the public in aid of St Ann’s Hospice, which we have supported for over 10 years, and for whom we have raised almost £100,000.  June is a lovely time in the garden, and we would love to welcome people back to our open spaces and the chance to once again enjoy a lovely community event, post COVID-19.

The Didsbury Open Gardens is a key community charity event and an enjoyable day for all. So, while we may not have been able to open until this year, here are two gardens, both not far from Didsbury,  ‘virtual’ open garden with a Japanese theme,  and, here , which we hope you will enjoy visiting if only virtually.

The Hospice last year had a show garden at the 2021 Manchester Flower Show designed and created by Didsbury Open Gardens founder and organiser, Maria Stripling. The garden was part of the 50th birthday celebrations for the Hospice. It has now been relocated to both of the hospice sites at Heald Green and Little Hulton.  Photos can be found here.

We very much look forward to seeing you in our Didsbury gardens in 2022! Tickets will go on sale from The Cheese Hamlet in early May 2022.  Meanwhile, you can subscribe on this webs site to receive news and updates.

Thank You from Maria & Simon.
